Granddaughter's Bracelet

Earrings

A good friend of mine asked if I could rescue her sad little bracelet.  It was quickly losing its shape due to some stretched out elastic cord.  Her bracelet comes from Ireland and contains beautiful Connemara marble beads which have a nice light green color.  It also features a silver Claddah charm (an Irish symbol for friendship and unity).

The makeover included adding Swarovksi crystal beads, ornate silver beads, bead caps and a silver toggle clasp to match the Claddah charm.  The leftover Connemara beads were used to make a matching bracelet for her granddaughter, a young lady who absolutely loves jewelry!  This was a fun project, and I hope that they'll both enjoy the old bracelet with the new look!

As an update to the Connemara marble bead project, my friend liked the bracelet so much, she asked me to make a pair of earrings to match.  I think they'll make a nice addition to the bracelet

Bracelet Restoration

This is another bracelet makeover using a bracelet that I had found while out on a shopping expedition with a good friend of mine.  The beads really captured my attention, and I thought that with a little creativity, I could turn this into a bracelet that would soon become one of my favorites.  After adding some ornate beads and reworking the design about a half a dozen times, I finally came up with the finished piece.  (I think I'll be wearing this one quite often!)
