Makeover Bracelet

This is another bracelet makeover using a bracelet that I had found while out on a shopping trip. Click on the picture to read more about it.

This bracelet features Peyote stitch beaded beads using amber and salmon colored Delica beads made by my mother, and Swarovski amber metal cast two-holed beads.  A twisted wire sterling silver toggle clasp completes this bracelet.  A wonderful combination of colors on this piece!
 

This set features striking lampwork beads of blue, green, yellow, and black, Swarovski crystals, and ornate sterling silver beads.  A large nautical sterling silver toggle clasp has been added to both pieces, and the bracelet features a fancy prayer box that opens.  A lovely set!

This necklace and bracelet set features pink lampwork beads, Swarovski cube crystals, and a wide variety of ornate silver beads.  A nice springtime piece!

This intricate necklace was created using a pattern called Frangipani and contains amber beads with a gold toggle clasp.  My mother helped me immensely as we studied the pattern to initially make the bracelet (also shown in the Gallery) and I decided to try the necklace.  This necklace and the bracelet makes a lovely ensemble!

And here's the matching bracelet using the Frangipani pattern.  It also contains amber beads, but this piece is embellished with a gold bead overlay.  My mother made three of these bracelets using various shades of blue beads and light sapphire Swarovski bicone crystals, and they turned out absolutely gorgeous!  Her fine workmanship and attention to detail turned what would normally be a nice bracelet into a true masterpiece! 

My dear friend recently had a baby, so what better way to help celebrate than to put together a darling little charm bracelet!  This bracelet is packed with charms - stroller, bottle, bear, cup, rocking horse, and all kinds of other baby charms.  Very cute!  More pics below:

The beads from this bracelet came from a friend whose grandmother had given her a necklace from West Germany.  Unfortunately, the necklace was in disrepair, so she requested that I use some of the beads to create a new bracelet for her.  This piece contains an antique multi-faceted 10mm crystal as the focal bead, along with cracked glass two-tone beads and glass rondelles - absolutely beautiful beads!  I added 24K gold-plated ornate beads to accent the focal crystal and 24K gold-plated rounds to accompany the balance of the bracelet.  I really had a lot of fun working with these wonderful vintage beads to create a nice new bracelet for my friend to enjoy!
